On the App Store and on Google Play, listed as Mitr: Wisdom Companion. iOS 16 or later is required.
You describe what is on your mind. The app responds with one idea from the Bhagavad Gita and related texts, explained in plain language. A daily check-in across five areas determines which practice is suggested that day.

No. mitr cannot diagnose or treat any condition and is not a substitute for professional care. Full statement of what it is and is not.
The score is your own answer at the check-in, so completing a practice does not move it by itself. It changes when you next check in and report how you are. Regularity matters more than intensity, and we make no promise about a number. More about the daily practice.
No. The material is explained in plain language, without Sanskrit terms in the interface.
A private place to write. You can start from a prompt or a blank page, keep a verse, or write your own response to something from a conversation. Nothing written there is posted, shown to anyone or read by mitr, and it is removed when you delete your account. More about this.
Yes. There is a place to sit with what other people are carrying, anonymously unless they choose to show their name, and a way to find temples, centers and gatherings near you, along with online ones. We take no bookings and handle no payments: where a gathering asks you to register, you deal with the host directly. There are no followers, no likes and no attendance counts. Listings are suggestions rather than endorsements, we do not verify them, and you should confirm the details with the host and decide for yourself before attending. Coverage is fullest in the cities we have started in and thinner elsewhere. More about how that fits with the daily practice.
English at launch. Additional languages are planned but not scheduled.
Yes. mitr is for adults aged eighteen and over, in every country.
Everything is open free for thirty days. In the United States it is then 9.99 US dollars a month or 79.99 US dollars a year. Prices are set separately for each country or region, so the price where you live may differ; your store shows it before you confirm. Full terms.
No. If you cancel before the thirty days end, you pay nothing.
In your Apple or Google account settings. Instructions for both platforms. We cannot cancel on your behalf.
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. Contact us and we will help you identify the correct route.
No. Conversation content is never used to train our models or those of our processing partners. See the privacy policy.

In the app under Settings, or by requesting deletion here if you have already removed the app. That page states what is deleted, what is retained and for how long.
Yes. Responses are generated by an AI model and can be inaccurate, including on the tradition itself. Report errors to team@bewithmitr.com and we will check them against the source.
No. They are our own plain renderings, and no religious or academic body has endorsed them.
mitr is not an emergency service and detects crisis unreliably. Use a helpline. Crisis resources are available in the app at all times, regardless of subscription status.
